LangSmith Partner Announcing LangSmith is now a transactable offering in the Azure Marketplace

On 24 April 2024 the LangChain team announced that LangSmith can now be purchased as an Azure Kubernetes Application through the Azure Marketplace, enabling enterprises to deploy the platform in their own Azure VPC with full data containment. The offering supports deployment to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or OpenShift, with a trial license followed by a production license that can be purchased using Azure credits against the Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC). LangSmith is integrated with Azure Resource Manager APIs for simple setup and ongoing scalability maintenance, and receives regular minor releases every six weeks with white‑glove support from the infra team. Security scans are performed continuously on the container images, ensuring that data never leaves the Azure network. The integration also deepens ties with Azure AI services, providing native support for Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Microsoft Fabric. Enterprise customers such as Moody’s, Elastic, Rakuten, and BCG already use LangSmith to move LLM applications from prototype to production. The Azure Marketplace deployment offers a smoother procurement process, full control over data management, and the ability to retire credits from MACC, making it an attractive option for teams that require strict compliance and data sovereignty. The announcement highlights the platform’s observability, testing, and prompt‑management modules, which give engineering teams trace‑level detail on user interactions and enable continuous improvement.
